The Bachelor of Music in Performance is designed for students who wish to focus their career on performance and creating a teaching studio. This degree requires intensive study in individual and ensemble performance and supporting music courses. It provides excellent preparation for graduate study in music.
Performance areas of study include voice, piano, and instrumental music (violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar, harp, flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, bassoon, trumpet, horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba).
An optional pedagogy track is available within the degree with courses including MUH 340 Pedagogy Literature, MUS 260 Performance Pedagogy II, and MUS 495 Music Internship (2 Cr. Hrs.).
