College of Business Vision Statement

The College of Business will develop future Christian business leaders with the virtues of character, servant leadership, and cultural engagement. These leaders will positively impact their business organizations and community at large.

Why Computing and Data Analytics?

Students will have the opportunity to develop an entry level understanding of the key technologies in computing and data analytics, including programming, telecommunications and networking, database design, software development, data mining, machine learning, visualization techniques, predictive modeling, and statistics. 

A major in Computing and Data Analytics will introduce students to problem analysis and decision-making, and provide students experiences with statistics programming languages and big data tools through coursework and internship experiences.

Exit exam. All business students must take a nationally normed, summative end of program exam that is used for outcomes assessment purposes: Business Assessment Test.  This is a comprehensive exam covering all of the major business disciplines and it is a graduation requirement.  The exam is taken as part of the Senior Seminar (BUS 490) course.
