ENEE 370 - Signal Processing

3 Cr. Hrs.


An introduction to signal processing theory and its applications is given in this course. Time- and frequency-domain concepts and the associated mathematical tools that are fundamental to all signal processing techniques, as well as the design, implementation, analysis and comparison of filters for processing of signals are discussed. Fourier series, Fourier transforms and sampling are reviewed.  The Z transform and the discrete Fourier transforms are also introduced.

 

Prerequisite(s): Grade of “C” or higher in ENGR 340. Corequisite(s): MAT 415
Grading Basis: Graded Repeatable: No Typical Periods Offered: Spring
