ENEE 211 - Embedded Systems3 Cr. Hrs. This course provides the foundation to the design of embedded systems and introduces students to microprocessors and microcontrollers from instruction sets and architecture to peripherals and software. Students will study the control of peripheral systems and devices in relation to the embedded system consisting of microcontrollers or processors, software, circuits, and mechatronics. The fundamentals of language syntax and semantics, with focus on embedded software is discussed. There will be a strong emphasis on project based learning and each student will be required to make a significant contribution to a final project.
Prerequisite(s): Grade of “C” or higher in ENGR 130
