Common Learning Outcomes 17. [AE] Aesthetic engagement through creative production or reflective patronage of the arts

Ballet is the basis for all styles of movement and will provide the actor/dancer a foundation for all other types of movement. This beginner class will focus on vocabulary, basic ballet skills and performance. This course is designed to explore Ballet and its expressive qualities through warm-up, center floor, and traveling combinations as well as the longer center floor combinations. Students are required to have flat ballet shoes- pink for women and black for men. May be repeated eight times.

Grading Basis: Letter Grade Repeatable: Yes Typical Periods Offered: Fall, Spring
