IS 399 - International StudiesVaries Cr. Hrs. Internal placeholder credit for the accounting of courses completed in conjunction with a university exchange or study abroad program. The course(s) at the host institution should be identified and approved by the relevant academic officer in the academic unit (the Dean of the College or School or the Director of the Center) as credit either elective, core credit, or as a minor/major course equivalency/substitution. The discipline will be identified by the course title, and the course syllabus must be approved by the relevant academic officer in the academic unit in which the discipline is housed. Upon completion, the course(s) will be replaced on the student academic record with the pre-approved transfer credit from the host institution.
