NUR 424 focuses on needs assessment, health promotion, and disease prevention in both vulnerable and healthy populations across the lifespan. Students will utilize previous education and experience in applying new skills and learned theories towards a specific population in a focused experience. Students will explore policy development in the public health setting. Students will complete 45 hours of in-person clinicals related to public health.
