ID 152 - Architectural Drawing and Graphics II

3 Cr. Hrs.
Expands upon the manual technical graphic skills introduced in ID 151 with continued development of plans, sections, elevations, three-dimensional drawings, and presentation methods. Emphasis is placed on introducing fundamental interior rendering techniques utilizing colored pencils and markers. Quick sketching skills that introduce color are developed, as well as the use of three-dimensional scaled study models in physical and digital formats to study the volume of interior spaces. Computer Aided Design is introduced to generate 3D digital models. This course has a studio component and meets a total of 6 hours per week.

Prerequisite(s): ID 101, ID 151, ART 105
Grading Basis: Letter Grade Repeatable: No Typical Periods Offered: Spring
