MGT 360 - Project Management

This course is an introduction to the concepts, principles, problems, and practices of project management across all disciplines.  The course is designed to provide the student with the tools, techniques, and methodologies of standard project management.  The course includes a blend of technical and sociocultural topics to prepare the student to be an effective team member and project manager.  Students will actively participate in learning the current best practices as described in A Guide to the Project (PMBOK® Guide) and will learn the basic functions and applications of Microsoft Project.  The course will conclude with the students taking the Project Management Ready exam as administered by the Project Management Institute.
