AS 209 - Team and Leadership Fundamentals

Students should add to their knowledge of the key terms and definitions used to describe air and space power, as well as the events, leaders, and technical developments which surrounded the evolution and employment of USAF air and space power. Students should demonstrate basic verbal and written communication skills, and they should know The Air Force Core Values and examples of their use throughout the evolution of USAF Air and Space power.

a. Comprehend how personality types can influence leadership and mission accomplishment

b. Comprehend that effective listening positively affects mission accomplishment.

c. Comprehend the traits and characteristics of an effective follower.

d. Comprehend the principles of Full-Range Leadership.

e. Comprehend the Practical Problem Solving Method.

f. Comprehend the concepts of the major motivation theories.

g. Understand the relationship of standards and accountability.
