The MS in Cybersecurity Management prepares professionals to develop skills necessary to protect organizations, manage their policies and procedures with regard to their computer systems and networks. Cybersecurity Management is fast becoming a key skill needed by companies to face cybersecurity threats and manage risks in a fast paced and often hostile business environment.
The program uses 7 core courses from the MBA and adds 3 cybersecurity courses. The total program is 10 courses that can be completed in 5 semesters. Students are required to have be working in a company while enrolled in the program. For those who are not working, they must enroll each semester in a practicum / internship course to fulfill this requirement.
The program will be taught both in a hybrid as well as online version. In each semester, a hybrid and an online course will be taught. Hybrid courses will be taught online as well as having two in person seated intensive weekend during the semester.
In-person attendance is required in all weekend intensive meetings. Zoom attendance is required in all scheduled online meetings, as described in each course syllabus.
Graduation Requirements
For admission to graduate, the student must satisfy the following:
- Complete all 31 hours of graduate work.
- Have a current GPA of 3.00 on all graduate courses; with no incomplete, D, or F grades in program required courses.
- File a “Graduation Application” form following guidelines from the Registrar’s Office.
