HIS 380 - Consuming Passions: Food and Drink in World History

3 Cr. Hrs.
An examination of food, drink and diet as means of creating community, defining religious, class and gender distinctions and as a major force in commerce from the rise of civilization to the era of globalization. $50 Course Fee Unless otherwise noted, all 300/400 level history courses require completion of one of the following courses with a grade of C or better: HIS 161  , HIS 162  , HIS 181  , or HIS 182 .
