ENGR 340 - Signals and Systems

3 Cr. Hrs.
An introduction to analog and digital signal processing, continuous-time and discrete-time signals and systems. Time and frequency domains; the Fourier transform and its generalizations. Filter design, modulation, and sampling for both analog and digital systems, basic concepts of feedback control systems for both analog and digital systems. Relevance to diverse areas such as communications, speech processing, image processing, biomedical devices, and consumer electronics.

Prerequisite(s): ENGR 120 and ENGR 121 Corequisite(s): PHY 201/PHY 203
