PE 324 - Assessing Student Learning in Physical Education3 Cr. Hrs. This course investigates assessment theory in physical education and provides opportunities for candidates to design, implement, and assess appropriate learning experiences. The course will focus on performance-based assessment, authentic assessment, and continuous performance based assessment. The candidates will be assigned to a K-12 site for at least 10 hours of clinical teaching opportunities that focus on assessment for elementary and secondary students. Must be admitted into the Teacher Education Program as a PE major.
Prerequisite(s): Completion of Benchmark I.
