Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a concentration in Medical Imaging is a Traditional program designed for students seeking to combine a comprehensive health sciences education with specialized training in medical imaging. The field of health science covers a wide range of topics in health sciences, public health, health care, and research.
This innovative program offers multiple pathways for students to earn their bachelor’s degree:
Pathway 1: Traditional Entry - Students can begin as true freshmen at Anderson University, completing their health sciences core courses and general education requirements before transferring to an accredited radiologic technology program to complete clinical components. Upon successful completion of the clinical program and national registry requirements, students transfer their clinical credits back to AU to complete their Bachelor of Science in Health Science.
Pathway 2: Transfer Entry - Students who have completed an Associate’s Degree program in Medical Imaging through a JCERT-accredited technical program or an approved JCERT-accredited hospital-based program can transfer their clinical credits to complete their bachelor’s degree at AU in the traditional seated program.
The curriculum is structured to allow students flexibility in completing their degree while gaining the specialized clinical training necessary for a career in medical imaging.
