Nursing (Traditional), B.S.N.

Mission Statement

The mission of the School of Nursing is to be Christ-centered, people-focused, student-oriented, quality-driven, and future-directed in preparing qualified persons to serve a diverse population through the holistic profession of nursing.

Components for Learning

The Traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing (TBSN) trains traditional college-age students to become nurses who can work in pediatric, surgical, adult, geriatric, and other fields of nursing. It prepares undergraduates to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) and become a registered nurse (RN). RNs serve in hospitals, hospices, homes, nursing homes, workplaces, schools, medical missions, the military, and other medical settings. This bachelor’s program will launch your nursing career, open the door to leadership and management positions, and qualify you for graduate-level training in nursing and healthcare.
