The Secondary Math Education program is designed and approved to meet the requirements for professional teaching licensure in the state of South Carolina in Secondary Mathematics (9-12). Candidates in this program will complete coursework in their discipline of study as well as educational coursework and clinical practice in public school settings. This program is nationally accredited through the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
2.75 GPA (In adherence with SC state requirements, courses approved for Read to Succeed endorsement require a grade of “C” or higher. These courses include EDU 370, EDU 470; Completion of Benchmarks I,II,III
