The minor in Writing provides students with a foundation in the academic study of writing. The minor can complement any degree by sharpening skills that are important to most professions, such as effective, creative writing. Students can shape the minor to meet their interests by selecting courses from various types of writing, including News, Feature, and Persuasive writing styles.
