The Anderson Master of Science in Cybersecurity is a fully online degree program that gives students advanced education in the field of Cybersecurity. The degree offers a holistic view of the discipline covering both technical and risk management aspects of Cybersecurity.
Rapid technological changes, growing societal dependence on critical infrastructure and increasing threats require educated cybersecurity leaders to help organizations face today’s challenges. Featuring small class sizes and a modern cyber range, this specialized graduate program emphasizes advanced cyber concepts along with hands-on learning to help students excel in the growing cybersecurity field.
The curriculum covers critical topics appropriate for graduate studies to include cybersecurity architecture, data security, leadership, strategy, offensive/defensive cyber operations, critical infrastructure protection, security audits and cyber law. Moreover, each graduate class covers material that prepares students for professional certifications.

Program Prerequisite Course (4 Credit Hours)
Students take CYB 510 or receive a waiver. CYB 510 does not count toward the 30 hour requirement. Master of Science in Cybersecurity (30 Credit Hours)
Degree requires 30 credit hours of graduate coursework. Of those, students take at least 24 credit hours of CYB 600-level coursework. Required Courses (18 Credit Hours)
Students take all six CYB courses. Cybersecurity Electives (3-12 Credit Hours)
Choose at least one course. Cybersecurity Practicum (3 Credit Hours)
Select one course. Interdisciplinary Courses (0-6 Credit Hours)
May select a maximum of six credit hours of non-CYB, 500 or 600 level graduate courses. |
