College of Business Vision Statement

The College of Business will be regarded as developing intelligent, ethical, competent graduates who are uniquely qualified to excel within their chosen profession.

College of  Business Mission Statement

The College of Business will develop future Christian business leaders with the virtues of character, servant leadership, and cultural engagement. These leaders will positively impact their business organizations and community at large.

Why Marketing?

The study of marketing is a great choice for students who desire to be involved with customer facing activities that help position organizations for success. Specific areas of study include professional sales, advertising, market research, consumer behavior, negotiation skills, digital and social media marketing, and new product development. As well, students will learn how marketing professionals help set the vision of a firm through the establishment of strategic initiatives that improve customer relationships and overall organizational effectiveness.

Exit exam. All business students must take a nationally normed, summative end of program exam that is used for outcomes assessment purposes: Business Assessment Test. This is a comprehensive exam covering all of the major business disciplines and it is a graduation requirement.  The exam is taken as part of the Senior Seminar (BUS 490) course.
