Mission Statement for the Post-Traditional Core Curriculum:
Anderson University is dedicated to the continued development of post-traditional students who bring significant life and work experience to their educational experience. In keeping with AU’s grounding in the traditions of the liberal arts and its Christian heritage, the University Core Curriculum for the post-traditional student is based on common learning goals and outcomes embedded in courses from a variety of disciplinary backgrounds. These program requirements affirm the value of foundational academic knowledge and shared intellectual challenges, while reinforcing the communication and critical thinking skills necessary for success in the major and the workplace.
