The Anderson University Cybersecurity Professional Certificate is a relevant, challenging program where students learn to protect the confidentiality, availability and integrity of data, networks and computer systems. This certificate is a non-degree program that may be completed online. Eligible students must have at least a completed Associates Degree from an accredited institution.
Earning a Cybersecurity Professional Certificate will increase your value in the job market. Through this certificate, students acquire a basic education in Cybersecurity that focuses on the fundamentals as well as key areas like network security and the Linux operating system. Students also choose courses such as cryptography, security programming, risk management, ethical hacking, digital forensics, cloud security, contingency planning, cyber threat intelligence, and certification exam preparation (e.g. Security+).
In all Cybersecurity classes, faculty integrate hands-on learning exercises to ensure students gain the necessary experience with tools used in the field.
