Bachelor of Human Services Mission Statement

The Bachelor of Human Services program educates students through a Christian perspective about social issues, problems and professional ethics and values.Although the field of Human Services is broadly defined, the objectives are focused on meeting human needs through an interdisciplinary knowledge base, focusing on prevention as well as remediation of problems, and maintaining a commitment to improving the overall quality of life of service populations. The Bachelor of Human Services/Behavioral Science Concentration program is designed to provide knowledge and skills in human/social services, psychology, and sociology. This degree plan can be completed 100% online.

Why Behavioral Science?

The Behavioral Science concentration prepares students to enter a career field related to a variety of service delivery agencies, helping professions, or counseling. In addition, it provides excellent preparation for pursuing a graduate degree in several disciplines, to include human services, social work, psychology, counseling, and others.

Courses are structured in a convenient 7-week format for working adults. Skilled and experienced professors with real world expertise instruct the courses and work with the learner to expand their knowledge and improve skills. Learners are required to possess a high school diploma before enrolling in the Bachelor of Human Services program. Students can enroll with or without an associate’s degree. Students may be able to transfer up to 64 credits towards the Bachelor of Human Services degree online.
