AI 207 - Engineering Intelligence Through Design, Algorithms and Impact3 Cr. Hrs. This course develops technical understanding of machine learning fundamentals and practical skills for applying AI across disciplines. Students explore the fundamentals of neural networks, supervised/unsupervised learning, computer vision, and natural language processing through hands-on implementation with tools like MATLAB/PYTHON. Using engineering design thinking methodology, AI and fabrication tools, students create AI-enhanced physical prototypes addressing community needs. The course integrates Biblical principles of stewardship and service while preparing students from all majors to understand how AI works “under the hood” and apply it responsibly for human flourishing.
