AI 203 - AI and Human Creativity

3 Cr. Hrs.
This course explores the intersection of artificial intelligence and human creativity across a wide range of disciplines. Students will investigate how AI tools can support writing, ideation, generative art, design, and collaborative work, while critically considering their impact on creative practice. Emphasis will be placed on hands-on exploration, design thinking methods, and iterative experimentation. Through workshops and case studies, students will learn to use AI not as a replacement for human ingenuity, but as a collaborator that can expand the boundaries of imagination. The course culminates in a student-driven creative project, where each participant identifies an area of personal or disciplinary interest and develops a novel work that integrates AI in meaningful and original ways.

Prerequisite(s): None, though 101 is encouraged.
Grading Basis: Graded Repeatable: No Typical Periods Offered: Fall, Spring
