BUS 490 - Senior Seminar in Business

3 Cr. Hrs.
Application of economic, accounting, marketing, finance, supply chain/operations, human resources and management theories and ethical principles to solve current business problems in a pro-capitalist context. Students will be exposed to strategic planning, ethics, organization management, corporate social responsibility, and employee engagement through the use of simulations and case studies. Students discuss workplace expectations, culture/values development, personalities in the context of team development. methods include group and individual learning activities to develop successful strategy and analysis techniques. Students will also complete national assessments of business knowledge and discuss workforce entry.

Prerequisite(s): FIN 310 , CIS 252, and Senior Standing.
Grading Basis: Letter Grade Repeatable: No Typical Periods Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer
