CYB 696 - Cybersecurity Research3 Cr. Hrs. Students develop a research report that investigates a real-world topic. The topic must be an extension of course material and require substantial research into solving a practical, industry-relevant, cybersecurity problem or question. This project is faculty supervised but largely independent work. Topics must be approved. The course is ideal for students considering a larger research agenda or doctoral work. The course requires a project management plan and concludes with a formal deliverable and project assessment. This is a single-semester, non-thesis course and may not be repeated for credit. Requires faculty permission to enroll.
Prerequisite(s): CYB 675, Cybersecurity Project Management and instructor permission. Grading Basis: Graded Repeatable: No Typical Periods Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer
