CYB 695 - Cybersecurity Practicum

3 Cr. Hrs.

Students develop a practical application of the studied material in an operational, simulation, or virtual environment. Topics can relate to a security appliance, a technical, administrative, or physical control, a workplace internship, an employment project, or alternative real-world application. This practicum is faculty supervised but largely independent work. Practicum topics must be approved. The course requires a project management plan and concludes with a formal deliverable and project assessment. This is a single-semester course and may not be repeated for credit.

Prerequisite(s): CYB 675, Cybersecurity Project Management.
Grading Basis: Graded Repeatable: No Typical Periods Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer
