CYB 670 - Security Auditing3 Cr. Hrs. A course focused on the key topics and supporting tasks accomplished in information system audit, assurance, and control. Students learn how providing audit services in accordance with standards will assist organizations in protecting and controlling data and information technology. The identification of critical issues to support and safeguard the governance of data and information systems is covered. Various forms of security audits such as penetration testing and compliance assessments are reviewed. Students practice technical report writing appropriate for technology and security audits.
