CYB 650 - Offensive Cyber Operations

The course provides an offensive, penetration test approach to enterprise cybersecurity. Students are given a hands-on approach utilizing red team tools to perform the same tactics, techniques, and procedures threat actors utilize against enterprise systems. Students practice skills in virtualized environments. Students will validate technical skills and test their ability to apply critical thinking to solving offensive technical cybersecurity problems against defensive measures and exposing system vulnerabilities.

Prerequisite(s): CYB 610, Data Security & Privacy in Cloud Environments. Also could be a co-requisite. Corequisite(s): CYB 610, Data Security & Privacy in Cloud Environments. Also could be a prerequisite.
