CON 315 - Designing Solutions for the World using Technology

3 Cr. Hrs.
The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the engineering design process, as it relates to designing solutions. Whether it be environmental challenges that impact our oceans or mobility needs that impact individuals, we are all able to contribute if we understand how to consider a challenge from an engineering design perspective. Students will use the AU Makerspace and other resources to research and design experimental prototypes as they create practical solutions for real-world problems.  The course will further engage students in considering factors within their Christian worldview when designing solutions.

Prerequisite(s): PHI 210
Grading Basis: Graded Repeatable: No Typical Periods Offered: Fall
