CTI 411 - Contemporary Issues in Literature and Film: The Superhero

This course will examine the development and popularity of the superhero in film and print. It will interrogate the ethical and moral framework behind the representations of the superhero, the antihero, and the villain. Through a discussion-based classroom environment, students will engage with comic book and film representations producing analytical and creative works in conversation with these greater frameworks.

Prerequisite(s): PHI 210
Grading Basis: Graded Repeatable: No Typical Periods Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer
This course has been taught both seated, traditional and online as need has dictated.
