NEUR 301 - Neuroscience 1: Foundations3 Cr. Hrs. Common Learning Outcomes 02. [HB] Knowledge of human behaviors and structures, 04. [NW] Knowledge of the physical and natural world
This course introduces students to the field of neuroscience, explores the cellular and molecular basis of neural systems, and discusses the neural basis of cognition. Students are expected to leverage their understanding of biology and chemistry to build a working knowledge of neuroscience fundamentals.
Prerequisite(s): BIO 111 and CHE 112/114 Grading Basis: Graded Repeatable: No Typical Periods Offered: Fall All of these neuroscience courses will be taught through the Lower Costs Model for Independent Colleges Consortium (LCMC).
