CYB 330 - Digital Forensics3 Cr. Hrs. An introduction to the practice of digital forensics. The course surveys the knowledge needed to forensically analyze computer hosts and networks and how to properly collect, analyze, report and present such evidence. Students learn to examine computer memory, storage, file systems and cloud-based systems. Legal topics are covered to include chain of custody, e-discovery and authentication of evidence. Prerequisite(s): CYB 230 , Network Security. Course Rotation: Spring
