CRJ 430 - Government Budgeting and Finance3 Cr. Hrs. This course informs and educates the student of the methods of, and philosophy for, providing the financial resources to carry out government programs; levels of spending, budgeting, and fiscal policy; public expenditure and public revenue; decision-making with emphasis on program budgeting, cost benefit analysis, and zero based budgeting; the effects of evolving tax policies on resource allocation, economic growth and tax issues.
