FRE 212 - Intermediate French Language & Culture II3 Cr. Hrs. Focus on conversation and reading; emphases on varied, complex sentences. A continued appreciation of French speaking culture underlies the orientation of the course. Prerequisite(s): FRE 211 or Superior Score on French Placement Test Students with two or more high school language credits may take the Foreign Language Placement Test during orientation with the option of being placed at a higher level. Students with prior study in educational institutions in which French is the primary language are not allowed to receive credit for the elementary level of the native language. They should complete the 111-112 sequence of another language.
