This course includes an examination of the Gilded Age and Progressive Era, from the end of Reconstruction through the 1920s. Unless otherwise noted, all 300/400 level history courses require completion of one of the following courses with a grade of C or better: HIS 161 , HIS 162 , HIS 181 , or HIS 182 .
