Survey of the political, social, economic and cultural development of England from its beginnings to the Glorious Revolution of 1688. Unless otherwise noted, all 300/400 level history courses require completion of one of the following courses with a grade of C or better: HIS 161 , HIS 162 , HIS 181 , or HIS 182 .
