This course introduces students to the principles of engineering through the design, development and deployment of a task-centered system, e.g. a robot, or a programmed microcontroller. Emphasis on Python programming, elementary controls and National Instruments™ LabVIEW for instrument control and data acquisition. Various forms of communication are emphasized.
