The Anderson University cybersecurity minor is a relevant, challenging program where students learn to protect the confidentiality, availability and integrity of data, networks and computer systems. Through the minor, students acquire a basic education in Cybersecurity that focuses on the fundamentals as well as key themes like network security and the Linux operating system. As part of the minor, students choose classes covering topics such as cryptography, security programming, risk management, ethical hacking, digital forensics, cloud security, contingency planning, cyber threat intelligence, and professional certification preparation.
In all Cybersecurity classes, faculty integrate hands-on learning exercises to ensure students gain the necessary skills and experience with tools used in the field.
