Mission Statement for the Adult Core Curriculum:
Anderson University is dedicated to the continued development of non-traditional students who bring significant life and work experience to their educational experience. In keeping with AU’s grounding in the traditions of the liberal arts and its Christian heritage, the Adult Programs’ University Core Curriculum is based on common learning goals and outcomes embedded in courses from a variety of disciplinary backgrounds. These program requirements affirm the value of foundational academic knowledge and shared intellectual challenges, while reinforcing the communication and critical thinking skills necessary for success in the major and the workplace.
