Kinesiology: Pre-Physical Therapy, B.S.

The mission of the Anderson University Human Performance Department is to offer students the opportunity to successfully prepare for a career in either the health and fitness profession or graduate studies.  A secondary purpose of the program is to convey to all students the importance of lifetime wellness.

Prior to gaining clearance to take upper-level courses in Kinesiology, a specific GPA must be met in three introductory courses: BIO 140/141, CHE 111/113, and MAT 107.  If a student wishes to declare a Pre-Physical Therapy concentration, a 3.0 GPA is required in these introductory courses.  The profession of Physical Therapy requires completing a graduate program where a 3.0 will better prepare students for this profession.

No grade below a “C in a course required for the major or minor (including cognates and specified electives) will count toward satisfying that course requirement.  This policy does not refer to general education requirements or elective courses.
