CON 309 - Politics and Pop Culture

Interdisciplinary courses covering a wide range of possible disciplines and topics. Course options focus on seeking and understanding connections and influences between two related or seemingly unrelated areas of study, or on investigating the contributions of one discipline through the lens and values of another. Introduction to politics and political systems emphasizing government in a cross-national and global perspective. Focus on the use of pop culture to explain these political systems and theories. This course also explores how pop culture affects public opinion, political discourse, and political behavior. 

Prerequisite(s): HON 101  or PHI 210
