NUR 641 - FNP II

This course introduces the student to problem-solving and clinical decision-making processes used by advanced practice nurses. Evaluation and management of the most common episodic health problems and chronic disease states of adults and children seen in primary care settings is emphasized. Evidence-based pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions are examined. Students analyze and explore health disparities, disease prevention and management, and health promotion for all ages.
